- We went over the Partial Fractions worksheet, however the quiz will be given the first 20 minutes of class on Thursday.
- The 8-5/8-6 quiz will be given on Monday (March 1), NOT this Thursday as originally scheduled.
- We briefly went over the section 8-6 notes, which you should be able to pick up from reading the textbook examples. Yes, the scheduled homework on the calendar is still due next time.
- The radicals worksheet was handed out, which is in addition to the bookwork. This worksheet is due on Monday (but you should knock out as much of it as possible before next class period):

Here is the Partial Fractions worksheet (sorry for not posting it sooner!!!)
...and if it helps, here are the notes from class:
- 08_xx_partial_fractions_NOTES_x4.pdf (warning: large download - ~6.5 MB)
Since we erroneously scheduled a test for the day of the ELA TAKS, the 5th six weeks calendar has been adjusted appropriately. This version of the syllabus reflects the new March 4/5 test date for 8.5 - 8.8.
For some reason, this assignment seems to be "missing" from the calendar.
Due Date: Tuesday, February 16
Page 593, #1-9, 11-17, 19, 23-25, and 30-42 evens.
(the "evens" only applies to 30-42, and not the rest of the assignment)
Here is the worksheet that goes along with section 8-2. These problems require polynomial/synthetic division to break down the factors.
Starting this January, the Math Department will meet on Tuesday mornings (instead of Wednesday mornings).
This means that morning tutorials WILL be available on Wednesdays... but not on Tuesdays.
This change is in effect for the remainder of the school year (and perhaps longer).
